we always told O that Jesus is in his heart...
on the way to school this day, O had some interesting questions...
"who does Jesus have in His heart?!"
"and what does Jesus say when He prays, does He say 'Dear God' or 'Dear Jesus'?"

Product runway

our friend Jeanette works as an interior designer for an architecture company. this is the second year they've entered the "Product Runway" fashion show. Each company were assigned different materials they're allowed to use to make the outfit. This year Jeanette is the model and they're working with carpet and carpet machine parts. I got to work on the jewelry for them using all these "mystery metal" from the machines. it was challenging not knowing what kind of metal I'm working with, we had to do a lot of test pieces to see how the metal react to soldering. Jeanette and her team put together where they want the pieces to go and I get to figure out how they will attach to the coil. I spent total of 20 hours after the boys are in bed to complete the neckpiece, and the 2 arm bands. Exhausting, but loved the opportunity to be back in my studio!
Jeanette was so awesome at the fashion show. they won 4th place out of 18 contestants. Ah-Ma helped watch the boys that night so James and I can go to the fashion show. thanks Ah-Ma, it was super fun to be there!

bus ride with Ah-Ma

Ah-Ma took the boys on a little adventure. we rode the city bus across the floating bridge, it was really cool to sit up so high and be able to see the water and all the boats in there.

O & Ry took a swimming class with their friends Timothy & Samuel for a week at a Redmond pool, the instructors were great but the times they offer in the fall are not ideal for us. Ry's wanting to take swimming now (he dropped out of the last class few months ago) we found another pool closer to our home and both boys will be going there in the fall.
