Merry Christmas everyone! Thank you all the uncles and aunties and our family for all the wonderful gifts.

the boys decorated the stockings themselves, they went for the "more is more" look... glued on as many candy canes as they can. :)

the triops are! we got some triop eggs about a month ago, they're about 1" long now and I can see some eggs near their abdominal area. O's been really good about feeding them every day. the triops swim in a erratic way when they're hungry searching for food, O would come and do a funny squirmy dance to demonstrate how they're swimming and remind me they're hungry. :)



Triops are crustaceans that look like minature horseshoe crabs. they've been around since dinosaur age.

we've been wanting to change our yucky carpet for the longest time, finally found the floor we like. James has been working super hard to install the floor, he did an awesome job, we're really happy with the result! it feels so much more spacious and so clean!
